The number of available Service-types is constantly expanding.

When Service-types are started using the NetYCE API's (XCH or CSV-wrapper) many service-type commands support additional custom variables in the API call that simplify its task. A list of special 'custom variable names' for each Service-type that support it is given in [[guides:reference:servicetypes:servicetypes_special_names|Special names]].
